Introduction
The Zhoushan Marine Scientific and Technological R&D Base jointly established by the Second Institute of Oceanography and the Zhoushan Municipal Government, is closely aligned with the development plans of the Zhejiang Marine Economy Demonstration Zone and the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area. Leveraging the strong scientific and technological capacity of SIO, the base is being developed into a first-class domestic and internationally advanced research platform integrating deep-sea scientific research, technology R&D, and equipment manufacturing.
