从事科研领域:
从事地质构造变形机制模拟研究,在综合地质与地球物理分析基础上,运用实验物理模拟手段(analogue modeling),探索不同尺度地质构造的演化过程、动力学机制、变形控制因素等,近年来的研究主要聚焦于俯冲带动力学模拟,主要包括:
(1)板块初始俯冲机制地球动力学模拟;
(2)洋脊/海山等海底高原俯冲对俯冲带变形的影响,如对俯冲板片自身几何形态及上覆板块变形的影响等;
(3)板块非均匀、均匀俯冲下的运动学差异、海沟迁移规律、地幔流响应等;
(4)大曲率弧形俯冲带的成因机制等;
(5)俯冲板片与660 km上-下地幔不连续面的相互作用及其效应等。

本人建立并负责海洋二所“地球动力学构造物理模拟实验室”Structural & Tectonic Geodynamics Laboratory (STG-Lab),实验室可模拟从浅部地壳到深部地幔不同尺度下的地质构造变形过程。欢迎对地球动力学构造物理模拟实验研究感兴趣的老师、同学来信垂询(王春阳,wangchunyang@sio.org.cn)
