On November 1, the trade union of the SIO held the 2022 Fall Canal Walking Activity.
Nearly the whole staff of the SIO participated in the activity. They boarded the cruise ship from Wulinmen Wharf in high spirits and deeply felt the ancient charm of “the sunset enters the long river in autumn wind and the boat sails in the rain and mist in the south of the Yangtze River.” The Grand Canal, which has been flowing for thousands of years, runs across hundreds of rivers, runs through the North and the South, and stretches far and wide, witnessing the long history of Chinese culture and promoting the prosperity and development of economy and culture of Chinese nation. Ships shuttle back and forth on the canal. The canal with a history of thousands of years, which inherits the grain transport culture, is still full of vigor and vitality.
After arriving at the historic bridge Gongchen Bridge, the participants visited the historical and cultural block along the road, and one of the benchmark projects of the Grand Canal National Cultural Park (Hangzhou Section) - Xiaohe Park. Spring and autumn outings can not only enhance the communication and feelings of staff, but also enrich the physical and spiritual strength, and are welcomed by the staff.
