Recently, the State Oceanic Administration issued the list of the first national-level special marine protection areas (ocean parks), which includes that in Putuo, Zhejiang undertaken by the engineering team of our institute. It is a new example for Zhejiang Province in exploring the special marine protection areas following Yushan Islands National-Level Ocean Park in Xiangshan, Ningbo and Chengsi National-Level Ocean Park.
