On February 6, “Xiangyanghong 09”, carrying the "Jialong" and more than 90 members, sailed from Qingdao toward the northwest Indian Ocean, which marked the 38th voyage of China. Han Xiqiu, a researcher at the Key Laboratory of Submarine Geosciences and the chief scientist for the first leg, set off with 6 researchers and 3 doctors from our institute. The deputy director Zheng Yulong saw them off in Qingdao.
