Recently, the monograph High Resolution Submarine Geomorphology written by Wu Ziyin, deputy director of Key Laboratory of Submarine Geosciences, was published by Science Press. This monograph consists of two volumes: High Resolution Submarine Geomorphology - Detection Processing Theory and Technology, High Resolution Submarine Geomorphology - Visual Computing and Scientific Application, including 19 chapters and 1,060,000 words. This academic work provides a systematical summary on the scientific accumulation of the research and practice of China's submarine geomorphology in the past 20 years. Furthermore, as a relatively systematic academic achievement of the precision research in the field of submarine geosciences, this monograph focuses on a detailed discussion concerning the contents of detection technology, processing technology, mapping technology and scientific application related to submarine geomorphology. This work is remarkably featured by the close integration of theoretical research, technological development and scientific application.
